Virtual Watchman uses vehicle recognition and security technology at participating locations.

Depending on the circumstances, this technology may collect vehicle registration details, images, the location of an observation and the date and time of that observation.

Information may be collected for legitimate security, community-safety, crime-prevention and related operational purposes.

Where permitted or required by law, relevant information may be disclosed to Police, law-enforcement agencies, authorised authorities, contracted service providers or other authorised recipients for an appropriate purpose.

Virtual Watchman does not provide unrestricted public access to vehicle recognition records.
